Electrolux Group is looking for a Pl Firmware Engineer in Curitiba, Brazil, to join their R&D team. The role involves developing embedded software in C for electronic boards in appliances, including design, coding, testing, and debugging. The position requires a Bachelor/Master's degree and experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop software in 'C' language following company guidelines.
  • Write SW specifications based on functional control specifications.
  • Test and debug software on appliances, analyzing logs and test reports.
  • Write modular SW for reuse across different HW platforms.
  • Integrate functional control submodules from Simulink models.
  • Use SW repository tools like Bitbucket, GIT, SVN, PTC Integrity.
  • Generate and customize application parameter files.
  • Lead and participate in all stages of the embedded software development cycle.
  • Contribute to issue tracking and software bug management.
  • Interface with Manufacturing, Quality, and Service departments.
  • Participate in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).

Krav

  • Bachelor/Master degree in electronic engineering, computer science, or similar software-related education.
  • Solid experience in design for embedded systems.
  • Good SW development skills in C language.
  • Knowledge of C language programming for 8/32 bit microcontrollers (NXP, MICROCHIP, STM, ARM M0, M4, M33 Cortex preferred).
  • Experience in developing software for embedded applications in consumer electronics.
  • Proficient with mainstream microcontrollers and familiar with development environment/tools.
  • Ability to test/debug software using oscilloscope, debuggers, emulators, and logic analyzers.
  • Mandatory English proficiency.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with ARM M0, M4, M33 Cortex microcontrollers is preferred.
