Qualcomm seeks an experienced PHY/Radio Validation Engineer in Kfar-Netter, Israel, to join the System Validation & Compliance team. The role involves validating automotive communication systems and wireless communication standards for next-generation SoCs, requiring deep dives into requirements, test planning, execution, and analysis.

Ansvarsområden

  • Analyze standards and system requirements to create compliance test plans.
  • Define detailed test plans covering radio system functional, performance, and compliance requirements.
  • Define and manage test infrastructure, including equipment, setups, and automation code.
  • Integrate and verify automation infrastructure.
  • Implement and execute compliance test suites, creating compliance reports.

Krav

  • BSc Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in wireless systems development, integration, or testing.
  • Practicing multidisciplinary systems (SW, FW, HW, RF).
  • Knowledge in wireless communication systems and standards, especially at the PHY level.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and test plans definition.
  • Experience with RF test equipment (VSA, VSG, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with Radio Systems certification process.
  • Familiarity with 5G-NR, LTE, Wi-Fi, or BT.
  • Knowledge in testing processes and methods.
  • Experience with test case automation.
  • Experience with automation programming languages and management tools such as Python, Cucumber, Jenkins, Polarion, Jira.
