Alfa Laval is seeking a full-time PHE Mechanic in Greenwood, IN. This on-site role involves performing equipment receipt, inspection, repair, testing, and packaging, including disassembling, cleaning, and rebuilding PHEs. A high school diploma is required, with experience in manual shop environments and operating equipment like forklifts preferred.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform equipment receipt, inspection, repair, testing, and packaging following quality standards, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
  • Disassemble PHEs, clean, and rebuild to new standards.
  • Receive, count, verify, label, and store all parts.
  • Uncrate, remove gaskets, and disassemble equipment.
  • Perform dye penetration inspection process on plates.
  • Clean and paint units as specified.
  • Install new gaskets (glue, snap, or clip) and prepare plates for assembly.
  • Recognize and communicate the need for supplies, tools, and repairs to supervision.
  • Keep work area and surrounding equipment clean and organized, following 5S standards.
  • Uncrate and assemble customer-supplied parts as necessary.
  • Pick up/deliver customer equipment as needed.
  • Handle shipping, receiving, and distribution of Alfa Laval and customer equipment.
  • Actively participate in daily ALPS meetings.

Krav

  • High School diploma or Equivalent.
  • Able to use measuring devices (tape measure, depth micrometer) as required.
  • Good hand eye coordination.
  • Flexible, Team Player.
  • Experience with clocking in and out, scanning bar codes, and taking photos.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in a manual shop environment, preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience operating fork lift trucks, hand pallet jacks and overhead cranes, preferred.
