Alfa Laval is looking for a PHE Mechanic in Greenwood, IN. This role involves performing equipment receipt, inspection, repair, testing, and packaging according to company standards. Responsibilities include disassembling, cleaning, and rebuilding PHEs, as well as performing dye penetration tests and gasket installations. Experience with manual shop environments, forklifts, and cranes is preferred.

Ansvarsområden

Perform equipment receipt, inspection, repair, testing and packaging following quality standards, SOPs and safety guidelines.
Disassemble PHEs, clean and rebuild to new standard.
Receive, count, verify, label and store all parts.
Uncrate, remove gaskets, disassemble PHEs.
Perform dye penetration inspection process.
Clean units (pressure wash), paint if specified.
Install new gaskets per specification (glue, snap or clip).
Recognize and communicate the need for replenishment of supplies, tools, and facility needs.
Keep work area and surrounding equipment clean and organized, following 5S standards.
Responsible for shipping, receiving, and distribution of Alfa Laval and customer equipment.
Actively participate in daily ALPS meetings.

Krav

High School diploma or Equivalent.
Able to use measuring devices (tape measure, depth micrometer) as required.
Good hand eye coordination.
Flexible, Team Player.
Clocking in and out, scanning bar codes, taking photos.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience in a manual shop environment, preferred but not necessary.
Experience operating fork lift trucks, hand pallet jacks and overhead cranes, preferred.
