I korthet

We are seeking a full-time PHE Mechanic to join our team in Ankeny, IA. This role involves performing equipment receipt, inspection, repair, testing, and packaging, including disassembling, cleaning, and rebuilding PHEs. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent and experience in a manual shop environment is preferred.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform equipment receipt, inspection, repair, testing, and packaging according to quality standards, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
  • Disassemble PHEs, clean, and rebuild them to new standards.
  • Receive, count, verify, label, and store all parts.
  • Uncrate, remove gaskets, and disassemble units.
  • Perform dyes penetration inspection on plates.
  • Clean units (pressure wash) and paint if specified.
  • Install new gaskets per specification.
  • Assemble plates for assembly or into frames per drawing.
  • Recognize and communicate the need for replenishment of supplies and tools.
  • Keep work area and surrounding equipment clean and organized, following 5S standards.
  • Uncrate items to add to customer orders as directed.
  • Uncrate customer-supplied parts and assemble or repackage as necessary.
  • Pick up/Deliver Customer Equipment as necessary.
  • Handle shipping, receiving, and distribution of equipment.
  • Actively participate in daily ALPS meetings.

Krav

  • High School diploma or Equivalent.
  • Able to use measuring devices (tape measure, depth micrometer) as required.
  • Good hand eye coordination.
  • Flexible, Team Player.
  • Ability to clock in and out, scan bar codes, and take photos.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in a manual shop environment, preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience operating fork lift trucks, hand pallet jacks and overhead cranes, preferred.
