The Parts Picker Packer is responsible for fulfilling parts requests from workshop personnel and customers efficiently, as well as maintaining the storeroom. This role involves picking, packing, dispatching parts, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Ansvarsområden
- Pick and deliver correct parts to customers and Workshop on time.
- Pack parts and arrange for delivery or pick up.
- Complete relevant documentation accurately, including invoices and payment.
- Work with the Workshop to ensure parts availability and adherence to procedures.
- Receive and inspect all delivered packages, resolving discrepancies.
- Dispatch parts, verifying against the invoice and ensuring accurate completion.
- Load and unload parts, bin to appropriate location, and pack parts in correct bin locations.
- Perform daily cycle counts and report discrepancies.
- Review parts movement when picking, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Ensure outgoing goods documentation corresponds to relevant documentation.
- Liaise with Parts Sales person on orders and deliveries.
- Monitor stock, spare parts, and inventory, organizing stock take as required.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in the storeroom.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
Krav
- Completed Matric
- Previous experience in automotive industry/warehouse environment.
- Must have been employed in current role for a minimum of 1 year.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Technical experience or qualification in Parts or similar would be advantageous.
