I korthet
As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for fulfilling parts requests from workshop personnel and customers efficiently, while also managing storeroom upkeep. Key duties include picking, packing, and delivering parts, completing documentation, building customer relationships, and monitoring stock levels.
Ansvarsområden
- Pick and deliver correct parts to customers and Workshop on time.
- Pack parts and arrange for delivery or pick up.
- Complete relevant documentation accurately, including invoices, payment and other official papers.
- Build and develop customer relationships through excellent customer service.
- Work with the Workshop to ensure parts availability and adhere to procedures for packaging, service exchange, and warranty parts.
- Receive and inspect all packages delivered, resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor stock, spare parts and inventory, organising stock take as required.
- Load and unload parts, bin to appropriate location.
- Receive and inspect goods, checking transport documents and incoming goods against the order.
- Partake in continuous improvement work.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse and common areas.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Work within delegated authorities for ordering, invoicing and crediting.
- Organise the return of cores packaging material, warranty and bought back goods.
- Carry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities as requested.
Krav
- Basic high school education
- Technical experience or qualification
- Previous experience in automotive industry/warehouse environment
- Proven organisational skills and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks carefully and accurately
- General warehousing skills & knowledge
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and technical awareness of motor vehicles
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and manage relationships
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Knowledge of procedures and laws concerning stocking, packing and treatment of waste
- General computer skills
- Must have been employed in your current role for a minimum of 1 year.
