Emerson is seeking an Ovation Support Engineer in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. This hybrid role involves installing and configuring client systems, responding to IT support requests, and managing datacenter hardware. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in computer hardware and networking.

Ansvarsområden

  • Installing and configuring client computer systems.
  • Responding to client IT support requests.
  • Basic Knowledge of the deployment of Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Good knowledge of Switches, routers, and Networking will be an advantage.
  • Deployment of Windows Server on VMware on a regular basis.
  • New Server-grade hardware installation in the datacenter.
  • Daily monitoring of Datacenter hardware.
  • Remote assistance to in-house engineers to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues.
  • Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
  • Offering solutions that meet the needs of the client.
  • Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems.
  • Providing training to the in-house engineers.
  • Call logging with Vendors.
  • Inventory management.
  • Maintaining good client relations.
  • Tracking and managing work records.
  • Compiling job reports.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.
  • 2 years of experience in computer hardware and networking.
  • Skilled in liaising with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Proven work experience as a technical support engineer.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.
