Alfa Laval is seeking an Order Handler in Pune to provide cross-functional customer service, manage order inquiries, and ensure timely communication. The role involves coordinating with various departments, managing order documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ansvarsområden

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding orders.
  • Manage internal purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Process factory material transfer notes and ensure material availability.
  • Create service center orders against POs and ensure timely execution.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly follow-ups with factories and provide feedback.
  • Plan timely dispatch to service centers and group companies.
  • Create quotes for GMUs.
  • Act as a claim representative, assisting QA and ensuring closure.
  • Communicate with customers and act as their internal representative.
  • Support service centers, business units, and other Alfa Laval sites.
  • Register orders and monitor the settlement process.
  • Handle returns, commissions, credit/debit.
  • Create necessary order documentation for customers.
  • Focus on KPIs and prioritize safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Develop and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Actively participate in problem resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Drive waste reduction activities.
  • Engage in safety and quality work, reporting any identified risks or quality issues.
  • Attend meetings and transfer issues between departments.
  • Implement continuous improvement using ALPS (Alfa Laval Production System).

Krav

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from a reputed institute.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good English proficiency, both oral and written.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Excellent adaptability and flexibility in handling new situations and challenges.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Experience with Power BI and SQL is an added advantage.
