Ansvarsområden
- Operate tube mill machinery and equipment.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas (5S).
- Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
- Minimize scrap and assist maintenance with equipment issue resolution.
- Cross-train team members on programming and mill set-ups.
- Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
Krav
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Experience using special measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, tape measure).
- Ability to read and interpret set-up charts for tooling adjustments.
- Ability to change out cut-off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels.
- Demonstrated ability to meet negotiated time frames of scheduling.
- Ability to document downtime through a reporting system.
- Good communication skills with coworkers and material handlers.
- Ability to think and react to schedule changes and mill conditions.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Interpreting set up charts supplied by OEM.
- Seamless reporting system for KPI tracking.
- Continuous flow of the mill and material handler for proper tagging of product.
- Continuous improvement activities.
Förmåner
- 1st shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm.
