Ameristar Perimeter Security USA seeks an Operator for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday, 5am-5pm) in Tulsa, OK. The role involves operating and maintaining tube mill equipment, ensuring continuous operation, and performing quality checks. A high school diploma or GED and good mechanical aptitude are required, along with experience using measuring devices.

Ansvarsområden

  • Operate and maintain tube mill operations and equipment.
  • Ensure continuous operation during the shift.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S).
  • Cross-train team members on parts programming and mill set-ups.
  • Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on process and equipment.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
  • Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
  • Minimize scrap.
  • Work with maintenance to resolve equipment issues.
  • Document downtime through a reporting system for KPI tracking.

Krav

  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in using special measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, tape measure).
  • Ability to read set up charts and interpret them for tooling adjustments.
  • Ability to change out cut off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet negotiated time frames of scheduling.
  • Good communication skills with coworkers and material handlers.
  • Ability to think and react to schedule changes and conditions on the mill.
  • Ability to be a contributing and valued team member for continuous improvement activities.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with seamless reporting system to drive KPI tracking.
  • Proper tagging of product.
