As an Operations Technician at Arla Foods Lockerbie Dairy, you will play a key role in managing advanced Anaerobic Digestion and Effluent Treatment Plants, contributing to sustainable energy and environmental operations. This onsite, permanent role involves monitoring equipment, collaborating with engineering teams, and driving continuous improvement within a 42-hour working week.

Ansvarsområden

  • Operate and monitor Anaerobic Digestion and Effluent Treatment Plant equipment.
  • Support gas-to-grid output and compliant discharge.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to maximize plant availability and minimize downtime.
  • Analyze plant performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Support departmental KPIs and site operational targets.
  • Champion a strong safety culture through documentation, reporting, and observation.

Krav

  • Technical curiosity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine commitment to safety and quality.
  • Experience operating within an Anaerobic Digestion Plant, Effluent Treatment Plant, wastewater treatment facility, utilities environment, process plant, or similar manufacturing operation is highly beneficial.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with operational and engineering teams.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Methodical and analytical mindset.
  • Good IT capability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
