ABB is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee local unit operations, including project management, manufacturing, and quality. The role involves developing business action plans, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and optimizing operational performance within budget.

Ansvarsområden

  • Oversee operational aspects of local units, including project management, manufacturing, maintenance, procurement, quality, continuous improvement, logistics, and planning.
  • Develop business action plans aligned with business area/division/product group strategy.
  • Ensure strict adherence to policies and health, safety, and integrity standards within operations.
  • Monitor plan implementation and track deviations for corrective action.
  • Prepare annual budget, oversee progress, and address cost-related issues.
  • Develop programs, projects, goals, and metrics to achieve the highest level of operational performance.
  • Optimize working capital throughout Operations.
  • Ensure a value chain perspective to meet customer expectations regarding quality, service levels, and lead time.

Krav

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Manufacturing/Engineering or related field.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in service or manufacturing operations management.
  • Strong leadership and people skills with experience in building and developing teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong commercial understanding.
  • Experience in operational excellence, quality management, and process improvement.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
