Sandvik Mining is looking for an Operations Field Support to join their Rock Tools Contract team at a prominent mine site in South Australia. This role involves daily servicing of drilling consumables, inventory management, customer interaction, and reporting on consumable usage and performance, requiring a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage and monitor inventory levels at site
  • Plan and deliver daily consumables to underground drills
  • Receive and store goods delivered to site
  • Collect and report accurate data on consumable usage, performance, condition, and failures through Sandvik Track and Report
  • Engage positively with mining operators
  • Meet EHS requirements, including personal risk assessments, attending site safety meetings, daily safety checks, and monthly inspections

Krav

  • Valid manual C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
  • Reliable for FIFO roster (8 days on / 6 days off – 12-hour day shifts)
  • Able to pass police, drug, and alcohol checks
  • Strong customer focus and service mindset
  • Works well independently and in a team
  • Adaptable, resilient, and safety-conscious
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Physically fit (able to lift at least 45 kg)
  • Open to learning, training, and hands-on work
  • Must have the right to live and work in Australia
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment medical

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Ideally, experience working underground around heavy equipment
  • Hold current inductions
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety
  • Great customer service skills
  • Solid communication skills
  • Knowledge of on-site service contracts, underground mining, or Sandvik drilling products is advantageous
