The Onsite Construction Scheduler / Planner will develop, manage, and execute construction schedules for mission-critical datacenter projects, operating as a site-embedded scheduling lead. This role involves daily interaction with construction teams, site walks to validate progress, and identifying risks to ensure delivery commitments are met.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop and maintain construction schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools via Critical Path Method (CPM).
  • Perform routine site walks to validate actual construction progress against the plan and update schedules with verified data.
  • Analyze manpower curves and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) for weekly project schedule updates.
  • Review contractor-submitted schedules for completeness, logic alignment, and compliance with requirements.
  • Proactively identify schedule risks, constraints, and coordination gaps and escalate with supporting data.
  • Participate in schedule coordination meetings with General Contractors, subcontractors, and Microsoft stakeholders.
  • Owns schedule execution and reporting for assigned projects or portions of a campus.

Krav

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions supporting U.S. government agencies.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Ability and willingness to acquire and maintain a US Government Clearance.
  • 7+ years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 EPPM (or a similar scheduling tool) and Critical Path Method (CPM) methodology.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, sequences, and methods.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting data center or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Exposure to owner-side or contractor scheduling environments.
  • Familiarity with schedule risk analysis, delay tracking and change management.
  • Experience working in onsite or field-based roles.
  • Experience implementing Earned Value Management.
  • Experience with forensic schedule evaluation.

Förmåner

  • Typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year.
  • Different pay range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area (USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year).
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
