Alfa Laval is seeking an Oil & Gas Application Specialist in Pune, India, to provide expertise in High Efficiency Heat Exchangers for the Oil & Gas industry. This role involves customer engagement, developing value propositions, and supporting sales globally, contributing to sustainable solutions.

Ansvarsområden

  • Secure Oil & Gas industry process expertise and leadership for High Efficiency Heat Exchangers.
  • Review and discuss customer processes to position the heat exchanger portfolio.
  • Develop industry-specific value propositions for Heat Exchangers based on deep understanding of Oil and Gas processes.
  • Provide hands-on experience with EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and end customers on Oil & Gas projects.
  • Monitor industry trends, legislation, technology, and competitor intelligence.
  • Develop guidelines for smart design related to this application.
  • Support Sales companies with expertise and customer meetings.
  • Share application knowledge via internal and external training, webinars, and conferences.

Krav

  • Relevant Oil & Gas and EPC project experience.
  • Ability to review customer processes, identify pain points, and recommend optimization opportunities.
  • Technically support sales teams on tenders from an application perspective.
  • Identify new markets and opportunities within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Solid engineering or technical background.
  • Proven experience in Oil & Gas in a global environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering is a must.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global/multinational environment.
  • Strong expertise in process engineering for EPC projects.
  • Extensive experience in proposal engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of preparing technical and commercial proposals for EPC projects.
  • A go-getter, taking initiative to identify and drive various initiatives.
  • Ability to work in sync with multiple global stakeholders.
  • An eye for detail.
