Emerson is looking for a motivated individual to join their NDE team in Marshalltown, Iowa, as a Non-Destructive Testing Technician. This role offers hands-on training in various inspection methods to ensure product quality, with an opportunity for career growth in manufacturing and technology.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on in-process materials.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards using industry-recognized testing methods.
  • Collaborate with operations, suppliers, and customers to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Support and maintain NDE documentation, certifications, and compliance records.
  • Help keep the NDE facility organized, safe, and efficient.
  • Participate in audits and contribute to process improvements.

Krav

  • A degree, diploma, certificate, or coursework in a related technical field (e.g., manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology), or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available for this role).

  • Strong interest in manufacturing, engineering, or quality assurance.
  • Detail-oriented and eager to learn technical processes.
  • Clear communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
  • Motivated to grow skills and take initiative.
  • Basic understanding of inspection or quality control concepts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with NDE methods or certifications (ASNT, AWS).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or quality-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO 9000).
