Ericsson seeks a Node Integration Engineer for its new Radio R&D center in Yokohama, Japan. This role involves integrating and verifying next-generation radio products, acting as a liaison between various teams, and troubleshooting complex issues. The position requires a degree in a relevant field, strong RF and radio fundamentals, and experience with wireless systems and 3GPP standards.

Ansvarsområden

  • Act as a critical interface between Systems, Customer Experience, Hardware Integration, CNI test teams, Verification, and Test Environment development.
  • Test Radio products early in the development cycle and integrate them into the I&V test environment.
  • Translate Product Introduction requirements into clear integration and verification specifications, test methods, and verification solutions.
  • Ensure test systems, environments, methods, and documentation support new Radio products and test requirements.
  • Participate in development phases and drive pre-studies of future requirements, influencing testability and verification strategies.
  • Provide Radio technical expertise in troubleshooting and customer investigations with CX and Radio SW/HW maintenance teams.
  • Reproduce faults and drive efficient analysis and solutions for critical customer cases and escalations.
  • Test customer scenarios and configurations in the R&D lab, set up test environments, and perform RF measurements and validation.
  • Analyze test results, generate test reports, support integration and execution of test cases, and investigate test-system issues.
  • Support customer deployments during First Field Implementations, share knowledge, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to cross-functional teams in a Lean/Agile environment.

Krav

  • A B.Sc., M.Sc., or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of RF and Radio fundamentals, including wireless systems, RF measurements, instrument handling, and digital signal analysis.
  • Knowledge of baseband and Radio product concepts and relevant standards such as 3GPP, ETSI, CE, FCC, and Telec.
  • Solid understanding of Radio systems and Radio performance verification, with experience in Radio hardware integration, testing, or verification environments.
  • Ability to translate system and product requirements into practical integration, test, and verification solutions.
  • Experience working across organizational boundaries and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in development and product-engineering teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, curiosity, and a practical, problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities, with the ability to work effectively in English.
  • A result-driven, service-minded, and quality-focused approach, with the motivation to drive continuous improvement in Lean/Agile processes.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Programming skills for test automation and tools development are a plus.
  • Japanese collaboration capability is a strong advantage.
