Ansvarsområden
- Interface with key internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements and ensure project completion.
- Project manage construction related activities and DWDM network rollout.
- Own project scope, timeline, and budget.
- Ensure construction, fiber, and optical networks adhere to defined standards.
- Perform quality audits and ensure issues are remediated.
- Understand the metro fiber market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
- Drive scaling designs to meet customer demand.
- Interface with data center providers to drive equipment and circuit installations.
- Create detailed network planning packs for scalable and future-proof infrastructure.
- Manage program risks and report status reviews to management and internal customers.
- Develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of key markets.
- Understand mechanisms for operating and maintaining complex networks.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Work across multiple time zones.
- Travel 25-50% of the time.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment & troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Knowledge of software development practices and data center/infrastructure/networking technologies.
- 5+ years of technical infrastructure management experience, including network construction management and/or program management in a telecom environment.
- Strong technical understanding of transport technologies (Fiber, DWDM, etc.) and data center/infrastructure/networking technologies.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- 5+ years of network engineering and deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment.
- Hands-on physical infrastructure installations, hardware integration, racking, and cabling experience.
- Experience communicating to a diverse, global audience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience leading multiple large network construction programs.
- Familiarity with GIS platforms, quality assurance processes.
- Strong knowledge of long-haul transmission systems and regional construction standards.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment with strong contacts in fiber, transport, and infrastructure markets.
