Ansvarsområden

Build and operate Google's network reliably and at scale.
Execute deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks worldwide.
Develop creative approaches and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep operational costs low.
Monitor the network and repair issues while anticipating needs and escalating issues.
Own network documentation, update and maintain network designs and plans.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in network operations, supporting and troubleshooting enterprise or service provider networks.
Experience in Routing protocols, Network troubleshooting and Multiprotocol Label Switching.
Experience utilizing standard tools and processes to support multi-vendor networks, including network switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Layer 1 optical transmissions systems, layer 3 routing TCP/IP, wireless networking, network design, or operations.
Experience serving in an on-call capacity, acting as a responder for network infrastructure incidents.
Foundational understanding of core networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPNs).
