I korthet

We are seeking a Network Engineer with over 6 years of experience in LAN/WAN Networks and Security Operations to provide second-level support for incidents, problem resolution, and technical operations. The role requires expertise in networking technologies like routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, with flexibility for a 24x7 schedule.

Ansvarsområden

  • Investigate and resolve incidents and problems, providing short-term work-around solutions.
  • Act as a network specialist, identifying improvements in deployed solutions and contributing to RFCs.
  • Support and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DNS, and Email Security solutions.
  • Build user documentation and provide technical support.
  • Redesign and reconfigure alarms for the network.
  • Maintain a stable environment and optimize the network as needed.

Krav

  • 6+ years of experience in LAN/WAN Networks and Security Operations/Development.
  • A primary degree in Engineering, IT or Telecommunications from recognized and accredited institutions.
  • Background in Linux systems, Networking and Firewall technologies.
  • Knowledge of Networking and WAN technologies.
  • Technical experience on Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, Cloud, F5.
  • Strong Technical Skills on IP/MPLS, Routing, WAN/LAN, Security, DHCP/DNS/IPAM, Aruba Switches & WLAN.
  • Strong working experience with a wide range of Cisco & Juniper routers and switches, LAN, WAN and wireless LAN technologies, network security, DHCP/DNS and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, RIPv2 and EIGRP.
  • Experience with Airwave, Mobility master & controller, Access points, Aruba ClearPass policy manager, Scalance-X Industrial Ethernet Switches.
  • Excellent hands-on troubleshooting experience.
  • Understanding and experience with Cloud technologies, Devops, Terraform, cloudformation.
  • Working experience with Network and security over Azure/AWS/GCP/IBM clouds.
  • Must be flexible for 24x7 role and prepared for out-of-hours and on-call support.
  • Communication with Business – Stakeholder Management and Customer Interaction.
  • Individual Contribution and hands-on technical role.
  • Familiarity with Ways of working – Lean & Agile, DevOps, Automation, AI, Scripting, ISMS Frame work.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • JNCIA, CCSA qualifications are preferred.
  • Good to understand tools like Wireshark.
