The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will execute complex maintenance tasks on automated equipment, focusing on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair. This role involves ensuring safety compliance, performing predictive and preventive maintenance, and utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System.

Ansvarsområden

  • Execute maintenance tasks requiring in-depth technical knowledge of automated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment breakdowns involving mechanical and electrical aspects.
  • Analyze equipment failures and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform planned tasks regarding predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to reduce failure consequences.
  • Participate in problem analysis, root cause identification, and permanent solution development.
  • Create improvement proposals and execute resulting tasks.
  • Complete administrative tasks using the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Support operators by providing training.
  • Respond to and resolve maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance issues to ensure proper and timely resolution.

Krav

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Proven experience and technical knowledge in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience and technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical maintenance of equipment, OR military experience in a technical field OR an Associate’s Degree in a technical field.
  • Proficient in both electrical and mechanical knowledge and abilities.
  • Basic hand/power tool familiarity.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing specifications or work instructions.
  • Knowledge of and experience with industrial electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, email), including knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (i.e., SAP or Maximo).
  • Pumping system maintenance experience.
  • Conveyor system maintenance experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and program PLCs.
  • Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
  • Ability to appropriately conduct maintenance in a high-stress manufacturing environment.
  • Availability to work any shift (weekends, holidays and overtime).
  • Ability to perform essential job functions such as lifting and moving up to 33lbs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, kneeling, or climbing stairs/ladders.
  • Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
