I korthet

We are seeking a MS Core and Cloud Specialist for our Sydney, Australia team. This role involves operating and maintaining Telco Cloud infrastructure and software-defined networking (SDN) in a 24x7 environment. Key responsibilities include managing Linux, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud hardware, storage, and data center networks.

Ansvarsområden

  • Operate and maintain Ericsson Cloud products (CEE, CNIS) on Linux and OpenStack.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Docker and Kubernetes-based workloads, including Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Maintain hyperscale cloud hardware platforms and associated storage solutions.
  • Operate and maintain data-center network infrastructure (switches, routers).
  • Manage and troubleshoot load balancers and firewalls.
  • Work with Pluribus Networks and Ericsson SDN solutions.
  • Integrate and support OpenStack/Kubernetes networking.
  • Perform configuration, capacity, and health checks across compute, storage, and network layers.
  • Monitor cloud and network infrastructure.
  • Use scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible) to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with cloud, core, network, and application teams.

Krav

  • Strong Linux and OpenStack background (e.g., Red Hat, Mirantis).
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes operations, including enterprise distributions like OpenShift.
  • Expertise in Ericsson Cloud products (CEE, CNIS) and hyperscale hardware platforms.
  • Good working knowledge of cloud storage products (Ceph, ScaleIO, Nexenta).
  • Strong networking background with hands-on experience on Cisco and Juniper switches and routers.
  • Knowledge of load balancer technologies (F5, A10) and firewall platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Fortigate, A10).
  • Good working knowledge of SDN solutions (Pluribus, Ericsson SDN/ODL) and their integration with cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with OpenStack and Kubernetes networking architectures.
  • Familiarity with data-center network technologies.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, ZenOSS, Nagios Log Server, Ericsson OMC).
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python and Ansible for automation, troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving mindset and customer-first attitude.
  • Readiness and willingness to work in a 24x7 operations environment.
