Autoliv is looking for a Mechanical Engineering and Design Advanced Engineer to develop production machines and provide design support. The role involves designing and developing manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing technical support throughout the machine development lifecycle.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design and develop manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with facility requirements, process specifications, and established engineering standards.
  • Ensure compliance with machine and process standards, including MPS, EPS, AS, SOW, and other applicable engineering and manufacturing requirements.
  • Provide technical support throughout the entire machine development lifecycle, from concept and design through build, testing, installation, and implementation.
  • Create and maintain machine designs and technical documentation, including engineering drawings and records within the PDM database, following machine build standards.
  • Manage equipment build activities and component procurement, ensuring all required materials, technologies, and purchased parts are available to support project timelines and successful machine delivery.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, with strong machine design and equipment development experience.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Valid U.S. Visa and Passport, with the ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience designing and developing automated machinery and equipment, including technologies such as robots, servomotors, magnetic tables, and other industrial automation systems.
