Atlas Copco is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Projects to manage custom industrial vacuum system projects from inception to delivery. Ansvarsområden
- Perform CAD design and prepare detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
- Apply fluid mechanics and thermodynamics principles for piping design and component selection.
- Select system components and create Bills of Materials (BOMs) using ERP software.
- Ensure coordination with other functional areas.
- Maintain awareness of project cost and schedule.
- Participate in customer witness testing and analyze test data.
- Communicate progress and deliverable updates to stakeholders.
- Review and interpret customer specifications.
- Collaborate with Applications Engineering.
- Maintain project engineering schedule.
- Assist manufacturing with resolving design issues.
- Support Purchasing with part procurement.
- Develop and manage project schedules using MS Project.
- Review and aid in the design release approval process.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- 3-5 years of work experience in an industrial environment, with engineering background.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Familiarity with MS Project or similar scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and piping design.
- Knowledge of valve and instrumentation selection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality.
