Mechanical Engineer 1

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work within an engineering team to create and maintain ERP data in support of plant order execution
• Prepare order engineering deliverables such as technical order reviews, Bills of Materials (BoMs), and General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) (60%)
• Provide CAD support for Engineer-to-Order (ETO), New Product Development (NPD), and sustenance engineering projects (30%)
• Support product engineering activities to aid manufacturing processes and ensure smooth production workflows (10%)

You consistently create and optimize processes to ensure work is completed efficiently, simplifying complex tasks into structured workflows. You maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement and actively identify opportunities to enhance collaboration, integration, and outcomes. You build solutions that meet customer expectations while working effectively with cross-functional and global teams to achieve shared objectives.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience in order execution and product sustainment engineering
• Proficiency in engineering CAD and PLM tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Autodesk Vault, or SolidWorks PDM Pro
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or BaaN
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in the mechanical industry
• Familiarity with engineering and industrial design standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, or EN
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accurate and thorough documentation
• Ability to communicate effectively with local, global, and cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Certification in CAD tools
