I korthet

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our New Product Development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and launching new products, working closely with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience are required.

Ansvarsområden

Lead and contribute to the design and development of new products meeting customer needs, safety standards, and manufacturing capabilities.
Develop detailed product specifications, 3D models, and engineering drawings using Solidworks CAD software.
Perform simulations, prototyping, and testing to validate design concepts.
Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, procurement, marketing, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new products.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components.
Manage the complete product development lifecycle from ideation to production launch.
Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring product development goals are met on time and within budget.
Conduct rigorous testing of new products to ensure they meet design and performance specifications.
Analyze and interpret test data, making necessary adjustments to designs.
Suggest and implement continuous improvements in product design and manufacturing processes.

Krav

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in product development or engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency with SolidWorks.
Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis), DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) is highly desirable.
Experience developing electromechanical products involving electrical controls, automation systems, sensors, motors, actuators, or industrial equipment is preferred.
Experience working with PLC-based control systems and HMI interfaces is highly desirable.
Familiarity with electrical schematic design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent is a plus.
Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing and product assembly.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to read, create, and troubleshoot electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
Understanding of common control components including PLCs, relays, contactors, VFDs, motor starters, sensors, encoders, and communication devices.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Driveworks experience is a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing certifications are a plus.
