Material Handler I (Entry-Level) – Job Description
Position Summary
The Material Handler I is responsible for supporting daily material handling operations, including receiving, storing, moving, and shipping RMA orders. This entry-level role ensures accurate inventory tracking and timely material flow to support manufacturing and warehouse activities.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform routine material handling tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping RMA orders.
- Transport materials within the facility using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand tools.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Accurately enter and update inventory data in the ERP or inventory management system.
- Assist with cycle counts and support inventory control processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies.
- Follow standard operating procedures and complete assigned tasks and projects as directed.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 0–1 year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environment.
- Basic understanding of order processes is a plus (training will be provided).
- Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred (Oracle experience is a plus).
