Electrolux Group is looking for a Material Planning Specialist in Sharkia, Egypt. This temporary, full-time role involves optimizing inventory, managing material requirements with purchasing and warehouse departments, and ensuring smooth production flow for new models. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Issue POs to optimize inventory availability and maximize DSA.
  • Follow up on monthly requisitions for local and foreign materials daily.
  • Issue requisitions and maintain inventories of imported materials and supplies to meet production plans.
  • Manage material requirements with Purchasing and Warehouse departments.
  • Monitor the flow of scrap materials and slow-moving items.
  • Coordinate with the Service center to deliver required spare parts.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to introduce new models on production lines.
  • Evaluate section performance by calculating turnover ratio, material availability, and days of supplies.
  • Conduct Monthly Component stock 3D Analysis (ABC – XYZ – RRS) to control NOWC.
  • Communicate the Boxes delivery Plan to the Receiving team leader weekly/daily.
  • Perform Monthly Safety stock reanalysis to define optimal safety stock for owned ANCs.
  • Manage Phase in/out plans for Components & RM to ensure 100% depletion and zero obsolescence.
  • Fix budget with Purchasing, periodically review (EA1, EA2), and monthly check component requirements.
  • Manage and issue Production/Delivery orders by daily check of production plan and delivery status.
  • Manage non-compliant deliveries, report non-conformity, and arrange for replacement of defective material/component.
  • Manage obsolete components by developing actions for internal usage or supplier rework, and coordinate with Controlling for accounting.
  • Manage the use of components not included in the bill of materials due to lack of material, power consumption, low inventory, or quality issues.
  • Continuously monitor the status of own assigned component stock for inventory maintenance.
  • Consolidate requirements from each factory for the same commodity and supplier.
  • Assess supplier adherence by comparing plan vs. estimate vs. actual dates & quantities.
  • Monitor Control Cash Flow by controlling inbound cash flow with current liabilities.
  • Close the cycle with the receiving WH team to ensure good receiving and report rejected shipments.
  • Monitor Custody Shipments in the receiving area to release them from customs.
  • Conduct frequent supplier visits for alignment and performance development (Local/Foreign).
  • Control and manage document circulation related to shipments and ensure validation against government banking and ports requirements.
  • Monthly review actual supplier lead times compared to theoretical to reduce lead times and develop component stocks.
  • Follow up on open orders from issuing to receiving at WH, arranging shipping, managing docs, and following clearance.
  • Manage the process with Customs & TF and control the cost of demurrage.
  • Participate in Sourcing boards, providing clear ratings to suppliers from a Supply Chain perspective.
  • Review and confirm Purchasing contracts on the system for validation and completion.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication ability (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders across functions.
  • Ability to tackle demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease.
