Seeking a Material Handler to optimize warehouse operations, ensuring efficient flow of materials and products. Responsibilities include receiving, shipping, material handling with PIT equipment, and inventory management to support production lines in Voorheesville, NY.

Ansvarsområden

  • Receive materials, identifying items without packing lists, assessing oxidation resistance, and handling large items without COG information.
  • Ensure accurate shipment of finished goods to customers, meeting delivery schedules and quality standards.
  • Operate all PIT equipment to safely load/unload materials up to 50,000 lbs in all weather.
  • Inspect aftermarket core assemblies for completeness and additional work or painting needs.
  • Optimize storage of purchased materials for efficient space utilization and easy access.
  • Coordinate transportation and supply of components to production lines for smooth operations.
  • Plan for future warehouse capacity requirements.

Krav

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a stockroom.
  • Experience using powered industrial trucks.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of computerized inventory systems.
  • Ability to learn new equipment for job functions.
  • Works well with others.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in an engineered to order industrial compressor business is a plus.
  • Understanding of oxidation resistance and handling large items without COG information.
