Ericsson seeks a Master 5G System Developer in Bangalore, India, to lead 5G NR evolution. Responsibilities include systemization for radio functions, specifying new features, and developing simulations. Requires 15+ years of experience in system/link level simulation or 20+ years in telecom software development with a focus on 5G L2 algorithms.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform systemization for features in Scheduler, Radio Physical Layer and Radio Resource Management for radio functions like Beam Forming, Massive MIMO, Carrier Aggregation, Dynamic Spectrum Sharing.
  • Specify new 5G system features and functions, including requirements, test cases, algorithms, use cases, parameter settings and address any interactions with legacy features and functionality.
  • Develop software simulations for the performance analysis of features and algorithms either link-level or network-level simulations.
  • Drive continuous improvements of products, simulation tools and processes.
  • Support system verification and perform analysis of test results with respect to operator KPIs.
  • Support the deployment of new 5G & 6G products and features into customer networks.
  • Work with Customer troubleshooting and analysis.
  • Understand customer configurations and issues.

Krav

  • Strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing.
  • Solid understanding of LTE & NR 3GPP specifications, especially in the areas of the Physical Layer, Radio Resource Management and Mobility.
  • Experience in SW development for Link and Network Simulations.
  • Languages include: Java, C and C++, Python, matlab.
  • 15+ years of experience in doing System & Link Level Simulation or 20+ years telecom software development with specialization in 5G L2 Algorithms conceptualization, design, and development with strong fundamental on L1 blocks and concepts.
  • Analytical mindset and result orientation to deliver even when under pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and manage many different projects at once.
  • M.Tech. or Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics, or related field, preferably with proven experience and knowledge in the above- mentioned required skills areas.
