Seeking a skilled Marine Service Technician to perform field service, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Ballast Water Treatment Systems on vessels in the New York/New Jersey region. This is a full-time, remote position requiring strong technical and problem-solving skills in a marine environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Execute service jobs on board vessels as assigned.
  • Diagnose, solve, and report on issues, including those involving third-party equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting on board in various harbors, potentially sailing on ships until problems are resolved.
  • Handle major products and applications within at least one business unit.
  • Provide installation support and inspection for newly installed PureBallast equipment.
  • Commission and recommission existing Ballast water treatment systems.
  • Conduct compliance services including filter inspection, cleaning, and water sampling.
  • Utilize PLC/Instrumentation and Control knowledge.
  • Proactively seek central help and network contacts, reporting findings to the team.
  • Provide qualified service to client equipment and maintain customer relations.
  • Execute Performance Audits and review/create SOPs.
  • Offer technical support to Global Technical Specialists and the Global Coordinator.

Krav

  • Technical degree (a plus).
  • Relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, planning tools, and database handling.
  • Electrical and Automation knowledge (minimum EPC 50/60 / boiler controllers).
  • Ability to work outside normal working hours.
