I korthet

ABB seeks a Manufacturing/Quality Tester in Beijing, China to ensure product quality and compliance with standards. Responsibilities include performing tests, inspections, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining records. This is an on-site, full-time role reporting to the Quality & CI Manager.

Ansvarsområden

  • Conduct testing and inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Execute assigned work according to agreed workflows and ABB standard processes and safety guidelines, reporting any non-compliance.
  • Perform tests or checks by following procedures and instructions defined in manuals and test scripts.
  • Perform physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validating manufacturing processes.
  • Assist the team in performing all required checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing process.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot any identified issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate testing records, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.

  • Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of specific degree, qualification in subject
  • At ease communicating in required language skill(s)
  • Hold current required licenses valid in job location and country-specific VISA/work permit where required
