Emerson is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Marshalltown, Iowa. This role will provide manufacturing support to Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, addressing manufacturability issues and supporting the development of new procedures and processes. The position focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction through Lean implementation and OEE analysis.

Ansvarsområden

  • Support and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Support the achievement of critical success factors: Safety, Quality, Delivery/Lead-time, Cost/Inventory Management, and Cost of Quality.
  • Support the development and qualification of new procedures and processes.
  • Provide a manufacturing support interface with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to address potential manufacturability issues.
  • Support the implementation of Lean in processes as appropriate.
  • Understand principles and support reduction in the cost of quality (COQ).
  • Drive Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by analyzing data, implementing root-cause solutions, and identifying/facilitating process improvements.
  • Coordinate and connect with all levels of the organization.
  • Develop Best Practices and Procedures and communicate them through Visual Workplace, Formal Training, and Area meetings.
  • Participate in the development of capital plans, support Appropriation Requests, and the implementation of new capital technology.
  • Assist in coordination of production and quality activities to support Customer expectations.
  • Identify and implement annual cost reductions.
  • Identify and Facilitate Implementation of process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency.

Krav

  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or similar field of study.
  • Provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Strong, hands-on experience from an internship, Cooperative education experience (CO-OP), or a project-based academic assignment lasting at least six months.
