Emerson is seeking a Manufacturing Final Process Team member for the 2nd shift in Marshalltown, IA. This on-site role involves ensuring safety, performing wash procedures, staging parts, segregating non-conforming materials, and maintaining equipment. A High School diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to stand for long periods and operate a forklift. Experience with CNC machinery is preferred.

Ansvarsområden

  • Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules.
  • Perform Wash at the Wash Pad and Wash Line.
  • Stage parts for next operation.
  • Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.
  • Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Produce quality parts/assemblies and eliminate the cost of non-conformance.
  • Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
  • Align with all safety and work instructions.
  • Maintain clear communication within the department.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises.
  • Reduce lead times and optimize production cycle to conform to 'make-to-order'.
  • Maintain competitive cost associated with assembly including labor, material, tooling, inventory, etc.

Krav

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 – 3 years proven experience working with CNC machinery, such as mills, lathes, or grinders.
