Emerson seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Shanghai to master manufacturing processes, provide technical support, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma. The role also involves driving automation and IIoT solutions for Industry 4.0. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Master and document the entire manufacturing process, including assembly, testing, and packing.
  • Provide immediate and effective technical support to the production team, resolving complex manufacturing problems.
  • Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement activities using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of automation and IIoT solutions.
  • Assist the Production Manager in daily operational management and ensuring production targets are met.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing engineering role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrable experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in both Oral and Written English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with production operators, maintenance teams, Quality and supply chain.
  • Experience driving initiatives to advance the factory towards Industry 4.0 standards.
