We are seeking a results-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer for our facility in Mason City, Iowa. This role involves providing technical support for safety, quality, and efficiency, implementing process enhancements, and utilizing lean manufacturing techniques. A Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field and 3+ years of experience are preferred.

Ansvarsområden

Provide technical support to achieve a safe work environment, high-quality products, and efficient production processes.
Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities throughout the manufacturing process and company.
Research and analyze materials, tools, fixtures, and processes for efficient product manufacturing.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process refinements and enhancements.
Participate in continuous improvement events and utilize lean manufacturing techniques.
Identify and validate savings opportunities in labor, materials, and process improvements.
Provide troubleshooting support for production-related activities.
Design tools, fixtures, and production aids to improve manufacturing efficiencies.
Design manufacturing cell layouts to remove bottlenecks and improve throughput.
Develop and maintain documentation for projects, fixtures, tooling, and assemblies.
Develop standard work and manufacturing work instructions.
Develop and document manufacturing change requests.
Apply lean fundamentals to improve efficiency and productivity through line balancing, standard work, and cell layout.
Conduct lean initiatives including Kaizen events and immediate implementation of improvements.
Drive improvements in productivity, yield, scrap, rework, and downtime.
Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.
Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment.

Krav

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience preferred.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering-related software applications.
