Manage and build a Quality organization, lead transformative change, and deploy Quality Assurance initiatives. Ensure and improve product quality, investigate non-conformance, and collaborate with sourcing and production units to meet global standards and performance targets.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage and build a Quality organization with required infrastructure.
  • Lead transformative change efforts within the organization.
  • Lead the deployment of Quality Assurance initiatives and improve overall effectiveness.
  • Cooperate with all key stakeholders within Sandvik Local / Global guidelines to achieve performance targets.
  • Direct and coordinate the company’s Quality Assurance program, including the implementation of internal and external policies / standards.
  • Lead overall Quality Assurance activities and coordinate with Product Areas / Production Units in regard to Quality Management.
  • Ensure and improve the overall quality of products manufactured in the foundry as per global guidelines / requirement.
  • Ensure product non-conformance and Customer Complaints are recorded, investigated, and corrective actions are developed, recommended, monitored, and validated.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing to ensure product / process quality, technical and business requirements are defined for supplier selection.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of supplier quality performance and validation of measurements, supplier part investigation including effective root cause analysis utilizing quality tools, implementation of effective corrective actions and effectiveness of same.
  • Collaborate with Product Areas, Production units and Global Operation Quality team to ensure sharing and implementation of best practices, execution of continues improvements, and implementation of the same.
  • Ensure employees are trained, understand and follow Sandvik QEHS practices and adhere to established quality standards and safety guidelines.
  • Provide annual budgetary estimates including manpower, assets, equipment etc; manage and control expenses within budget.
  • Support in implementation of Audit (Internal and external) program for business unit.
  • Establishes individual and departmental goals.
  • Develop and implement tracking programs to monitor progress of departmental goals and provide trend analysis to management.
  • Support standalone projects which are executed within the context of quality task force.

Krav

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in quality management/quality assurance in large scale foundry producing Manganese and Carbon Steel Castings with a capacity of more than 500 MT monthly.
  • Knowledge of Quality standards ISO 9001 and QMS terminologies is must.
