Sandvik Mining is seeking a Manager Global Operational Excellence to join their Ground Support Division. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and end-to-end process optimization using lean methodologies. The position is flexible within Europe or South Africa.

Ansvarsområden

Promote reconciliation of global business strategies and KPIs with operations globally to impact profitability and growth.
Drive a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, lean, and end-to-end process optimization.
Develop and implement metrics/KPIs and audits to monitor, steer, and measure the success of operational excellence/lean/productivity initiatives.
Think visionary towards best-in-class production and end-to-end optimization.
Drive standardization and continuous improvement of core processes in the value chain to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality while supporting HSE requirements and compliance.
Identify needs for education and training to improve the establishment of a self-learning LEAN Organization.
Provide coaching and mentoring to team members on implementing operational excellence methodologies (like lean, Kanban, 5s, six sigma).

Krav

Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Previous work experience in a manufacturing and supply chain environment.
Profound experience in operational excellence, manufacturing, lean, six-sigma, or black belt methodologies.
A proactive, hands-on approach combined with a strong analytical and problem-solving mentality.
Ability to communicate effectively measures and strategies, from shopfloor to management.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead intercultural and cross-functional teams.
Proven success to motivate and inspire others, creating a collaborative mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Proficiency in MS Office products (especially Excel, PPT), Power BI and MS Power Platform is an advantage.
