Amazon Prime Video is seeking a skilled Software Development Manager to lead their Data Engineering & Insights team for advertising. This role involves owning the data platform, pipelines, and GenAI systems, managing engineers, and driving technical vision for advertising data.
Ansvarsområden
- Build, lead, and develop a hybrid team of Data Engineers and Software Development Engineers.
- Own the technical vision and architecture for the team's data platforms, pipelines, and data lakes.
- Own end-to-end delivery, operational excellence, and on-call health for the advertising-measurement data platform and its associated software and GenAI systems.
- Set and steward the team's technical direction in partnership with your senior engineers.
- Own stakeholder relationships with Prime Video Ads Finance, Product, and partner engineering teams.
- Drive the team's AI-enablement charter, including the semantics layer and GenAI tooling.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to align data platform roadmap with business priorities.
- Communicate technical strategy and trade-offs to senior leadership.
Krav
- 7+ years of engineering experience.
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
