As Manager - Proposition Strategy, you will define how Spotify grows its next billion users by developing affordable, locally relevant propositions and evolving existing tiers. This role requires strong commercial thinking, financial modeling, and the ability to translate complex analysis into executive-ready recommendations.
Ansvarsområden
- Develop new proposition opportunities and evolve existing subscription tiers based on commercial thinking and local market realities.
- Own the full journey from hypothesis to executive recommendation, including opportunity sizing, unit economics, and cannibalization modeling.
- Build and stress-test business cases considering licensing, market dynamics, currency, and subscriber economics.
- Identify and quantify potential cannibalization across existing tiers and revenue streams.
- Partner with Finance, Product, Legal, Strategy, and Market teams to build alignment and shape recommendations.
- Monitor competitive, consumer, and macroeconomic developments to inform the proposition roadmap.
- Translate complex analysis into clear choices and recommendations for senior leaders.
Krav
- Experience in product strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or a related area.
- Track record of turning ambiguous questions into structured recommendations.
- Comfort building and owning complex financial models, including unit economics, margin analysis, scenario modeling, and cannibalization frameworks.
- Understanding of high-growth consumer markets and experience working across different geographies.
- Ability to translate complex commercial trade-offs into clear, compelling narratives for senior audiences.
- Effectively work across functions and levels, building alignment and constructively challenging assumptions.
- Balance analytical rigor with sound judgment, moving between detailed analysis and broader strategic thinking.
- Curiosity about markets where established playbooks may not apply and enjoyment in finding practical paths through uncertainty.
