Alstom is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for the Sydney Light Rail Rolling Stock team at the Lilyfield Depot. This role involves routine examinations, fault finding, and repair of tram electrical systems, adhering to safety procedures. The position requires a Cert III in Electrotechnology, an NSW Electrical Licence, and participation in a rotating shift roster.

Ansvarsområden

  • Carry out routine examinations, fault finding, interrogation, and diagnostic testing on tram equipment sub-systems.
  • Maintain and repair tram equipment installed on Light Rail Vehicles.
  • Follow all established safety procedures and utilize safety equipment.
  • Report on activities, problems found, and measures taken.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and implement quality control measures.

Krav

  • Team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, fault-find, and diagnose on electrical systems.
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within maintenance operations.
  • Ability to participate in a rotating shift roster.
  • Cert III Electrotechnology.
  • NSW Electrical Licence.
