Volvo Cars is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for their new electric vehicle plant in Košice, Slovakia. This role involves optimizing equipment performance, providing technical guidance, defining maintenance programs, and managing budgets to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide technical guidance to maintenance leaders, supervisors, team leaders, and technicians.
  • Define and update the maintenance program (predictive, preventive, and corrective) for asset utilization and cost control.
  • Apply maintenance experience to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new equipment.
  • Organize and deliver training for maintenance executers.
  • Manage maintenance budgets for assigned equipment and activities.
  • Set up Bill of Materials, spare parts lists, and maintenance program documentation.
  • Collect, update, and optimize specific documentation, including visual factory elements.

Krav

  • University degree or above in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Very good knowledge of Maintenance practices/processes.
  • Good knowledge in managing small projects.
  • Proficiency in English and Slovak (speech and writing).
  • Ability to work easily with others and make new contacts.
  • Proposal and driving in improvement work.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Skill within mechanical engineering and related software, e.g., CAD, is a merit.
  • Good communication and logical/analytical thinking.
