Volvo Cars is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for their new state-of-the-art electric car factory in Kosice, Slovakia. The role involves supporting high-pressure die casting and CNC machining equipment, managing spare parts, developing maintenance plans, and leading a team. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for professional growth in a transforming automotive industry.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide technical and process support for high-pressure die casting, injection molds, and stamping dies.
  • Participate in shop maintenance activities and design studies, performing risk, reliability, and cost analyses.
  • Create and execute preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance plans.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and suggest improvements.
  • Manage spare parts and prevent problem recurrence.
  • Supervise manpower, schedule maintenance tasks, and develop the team.

Krav

  • Several years of experience in maintenance for melting/die-casting and CNC machining in the automotive sector.
  • Experience with spare parts management and problem recurrence prevention.
  • Experience with project management of repairs, refurbishment, and engineering change implementation.
  • Conversational English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work in a transforming organization and a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work within a multinational team and influence stakeholders.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Preferred university education in Industrial, Casting, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Completed Tool & Die apprenticeship.
  • Proficiency in Slovak language is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe.
