Tetra Pak is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Sydney, Australia for a full-time, field-based role. This position involves maintaining food processing and packaging equipment at customer sites, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and performing preventive maintenance. The role is ideal for individuals with mechanical or electrical experience, including those from automotive, diesel, HVAC, or heavy equipment repair backgrounds.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform preventive maintenance and installation tasks of moderate complexity at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Use Tetra Pak Maintenance System (TPMS) tools to report and document service activities.
  • Interpret technical documentation and follow global procedures.
  • Represent Tetra Pak professionally and share ideas for improving customer operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.

Krav

  • High school diploma or technical/vocational program from a trade school.
  • Foundational mechanical or electrical experience.
  • Practical experience performing maintenance and repairs across multiple areas (dairy industry, automotive systems, diesel engines, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, material handling equipment ideal).
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs.
  • Authorization and ability to work and travel within Australia with up to 40% travel.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Customer-focused attitude and a drive to improve.
  • Willingness to learn food industry equipment.
  • Proactive, safety-first approach.
