Alfa Laval is seeking a Machine Operator II for their 2nd shift in Richmond. This full-time role involves assembly, quality monitoring, and production record-keeping. The ideal candidate has a high school degree, 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, and intermediate computer skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Conduct assembly and value adding of parts.
  • Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
  • Secure accurate daily assembly production records.
  • Execute production work according to ALPS standards and participate in continuous improvements.

Krav

  • High School degree or GED Certificate with relevant experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience from the manufacturing environment like machines, equipment, jig, fixtures, and measuring instruments etc.
  • Able to read drawings, blueprints, manufacturing orders etc.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60lbs, climbing, standing, and equipment use.

  • Crane or forklift certifications are a nice to have.
