Emerson is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator in Aiken, SC to join their Fabrication Department. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using measurement tools, and operating CNC/manual machines. A high school diploma/GED or two years of manufacturing experience is required.

Ansvarsområden

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, including GD&T.
  • Using a variety of measuring instruments like Calipers, Micrometers, Height Stands, and Bore Gages.
  • Loading parts and/or bar stock into and out of CNC and/or manual machines.
  • Identifying, documenting, and disposing of scrap parts.
  • Scanning order routers to and from equipment for traceability.
  • Adding hydraulic oil, lube oil(s), and/or cutting fluids to machines as part of the TPM process.
  • Adhering to all safety rules and reporting safety concerns.
  • Performing other assigned tasks by supervisors or leads.

Krav

  • High school diploma / GED or two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to learn to read and use calipers, micrometers, measuring tape, and other measuring devices.
  • Ability to communicate quality issues or concerns with setup and/or lead personnel.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
  • Must be a team player.
