Qualcomm is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to advance Generative AI technology for the Edge. This role involves architecting, designing, developing, and deploying on-device AI prototypes, requiring strong Python/C++ skills, deep learning framework knowledge (PyTorch), and embedded software development experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy on-device prototype software for cutting-edge AI use cases.
  • Work in a dynamic research environment with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and software engineers.
  • Utilize cutting-edge AI frameworks and tools.

Krav

  • Strong Python and C/C++ design and implementation skills.
  • Knowledge of deep learning and ML frameworks (PyTorch).
  • Strong software design skills with a focus on usability.
  • Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Embedded Software development.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a relevant field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience, OR Master's degree and 1+ year of relevant work experience, OR PhD.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Excellent programming capabilities in Java.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.
  • Knowledge of Android programming is a plus.
  • Knowledge of neural network model optimization and on-target deployment is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Docker, Git and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of NPUs / ML accelerators.
