As a Microsoft Data Center Logistics Technician based in Sydney, Australia, you will be responsible for performing cycle audits, managing incoming and outgoing deliveries, coordinating security escorts, and documenting all logistical activities. Ansvarsområden
- Perform cycle audits and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries.
- Coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors.
- Document inbound and outbound deliveries accurately.
- Initiate warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware devices, including packaging and shipment for RMA.
- Maintain and update logical information within inventory management systems.
- Perform detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
- Reconcile and report inventory discrepancies.
- Execute the destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) according to policies and SLAs.
- Notify management of stock shortages and escalate issues as needed.
- Comply with all security and data management policies.
- Embody company culture and values.
Krav
- High School Diploma or equivalent industry work experience.
- 1+ year(s) of industry work experience in warehouse/supply chain within an IT environment, inventory management, retail, or warehouse management.
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- Requires verification of Australian Citizenship for federal government security requirements.
- May require an enhanced background check through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- 2+ year(s) industry work experience in warehouse/supply chain within an IT environment, IT, and/or logistics.
- Experience operating heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks, chassis lifts) for a large corporation.
