Tetra Pak is seeking a Logistics Engineer in Denton, TX, to optimize factory and warehouse logistics for safety, quality, and efficiency. The role involves leading inventory management, resolving delivery issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead inventory management and ensure process compliance.
  • Resolve issues with deliveries (in/out) at various stages.
  • Secure and promote a safety culture in the logistics department.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive logistics activities for lowest total logistics costs and improved service levels.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization within logistics processes.
  • Lead projects related to warehouse layout, material flow, transportation optimization, and inventory management.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

Krav

  • A Bachelor's degree, ideally in Industrial Engineering, or other engineering fields or in Data Analytics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge, including Macros creation and database (proficient in excel formulas and pivot tables).
  • Good time management.
  • A proactive workstyle with good decision-making skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Power BI reports development and automation knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with SAP ECC / SAP HANA strongly preferred.
  • AutoCAD knowledge is considered a plus.
  • Prior experience with process optimization: ideally knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ideally knowledge of TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
